I love this guy, he illustrates everything my complex and otherwise carbohydrated mornings were about back in the 80s. Even on the cereal boxes themselves! The little funky electro-lounge loop in the background helps too.

Ah, beautiful stuff!

I love people that use found objects for their canvas. Hey, have you ever check out Chax?

Here's evil people and evil pink bears (http://www.chax.net/frameset.html). You'll have to dig around, but click on the link until you get to the slideshow of his art. For the whole site, just go to Chax.net (http://www.chax.net).

I have no clue what he's saying, or the meaning behind his stuff... other than some vague Sanrio hatred, obviously.

I've never seen Chax before although I am a huge fan of the numerous japanese art sites out there. It's crazy how most japanese design their personal home pages, almost all use the same structure both visually and (I guess) literally. I guess if I didn't understand english I'd start noticing these things about the throngs of AOLer's sites.

Reminds me a lot of the stuff on the kid-a cover. Not that I hold Radiohead in very high regard it was some neat artwork.

I love the Radiohead art... and I remember when I used to love Radiohead a ton, too. Why can't they just admit they're a rock band and go back to the Bends?

Um, anyway, my new favorite cover art has got to be the paintings from the first two Gomez albums... well, that and the pencilly stuff from Vespertine.
