I grew up with Anime during I guess what was the "first wave" with stuff like the Robotech Macross Saga and Captain Harlock. I wanted my own Mecha sooo bad in the 8th grade. Some of my earliest "l33t de5ignz0r" stuff had lotsa Mecha in it.

That's a Genesis Climber Mospeada Alpha, not a Macross Armoured Valkyrie.. but yes, they were both in Robotech.
