It's pretty simple, most people on LJ know me from my user pics which are all mostly head shots. My body isn't in the equation at all so they make the assumption.

I had to think about this one but it made immediate sense when I figured it out.

Definitely my sense of humor. It gets me through life without blowing too many gaskets. It my not come off to well in text but I really don't take myself too seriously. Anybody who knows me will attest to that.

when are you going to put out an ep of your music? i mean, officially, with finished songs, artwork, credits etc... not just mp3's n blanks cd-r's with ideas strung together on it *duck* :P

As usual it comes down to $$$. I'd need to be able to front about $620 for 500 CDs WITHOUT jewel cases or artwork. Goes up to $1300 for 500 CDs with a 4-page booklet (the least I'd want to do). I can sell the EP for $5-7 and make a tidy profit but guess what?! If I have that kinda money it's likely gonna go to other things. There are lots of DIY alternatives packaging wise but I take the design very seriously and would want to find a very elegant solution.

I was thinking about composing some songs designed for low bit-rate and fill a 3.5" floppy with tunes for a simple and cheap promo. Because the nature of the music I make it'll be accessible and appropriate to the audience. Three normal sized tracks compressed at 24kbps should fit into 1.44mb. It'll sound like ass, but it's art baby! ART! ;)

So the long and short of it: not until I make myself financially viable which means gigs! I could throw a gig next summer at the Transit Union although keeping the operation profitable will be a trick.

An album in 2004/2005 is a possibility. Btw, Martin lent me his Bass and Amp for an indefinite amount of time. He just doesn't want it rotting in his basement. It's Cort 4-string /w active and Fender BXR-60 respectively.

Personally it takes a good lead-up conversation. Be it in person, on the phone or internet. I'm not into going on dates with people who just look pretty, it bores me to tears and most importantly makes me feel really uncomfortable.
