I wonder if Unisys would sue if you used Sperry Univac.....I caught ,8,1 as well, if memory serves, that's the C64 command that indicates a peripheral disk drive when used with load. It has been a long time though.

I also suppose 8" Wang would be too obvious. Somewhere I have an old 8" disk that says " 8" Wang Diskette"
