Thank you, Jesus, for finally giving me access to Beat 'Em & Eat 'Em.

By Jesus, I mean you.

Oh the memories...

I remember my dad having a Stripping game for Atari. I found it one day and put it in. WOW! To think the graphics we though were amazing back then. To bad it was all women though :)

I remember thinking "Why would anyone want to look at the women strip" Even at 8... I knew :)

omg!!!

I few months ago, I dug up my old Atari 2600 and played "E.T." for the first time in who knows when. And I remembered something that I'd forgotten for almost 20 years. If you time it just right, you can make the spaceship LAND on Elliott and kill him, and the game just ends right there.

This was my amusement when I was a kid. When I was eleven, there was nothing funnier than killing Elliott. I used to do it all the time. You call the ship, you call Elliott, and you get the timing just right so Elliot is ON the screen when the ship lands, and BOOM, he's dead, and E.T. is stuck on earth.

Now, that, my dear, would've been a great movie.

Took me four tries as an adult, but I did it again. and I have to say, it was alarming that my sense of humor hasn't evolved that much, because I laughed so hard I almost pass out.

THAT having been said, I do wonder what you'd have to do to get that pimping screen above?

(That, too, would've been a great movie.)

Man, that'd be a great movie. ET kills Elliot, stays on earth and opens a strip club with a space ship shaped DJ booth where he hangs out like an alien Steve Rubell from Club 54 watching his coked up hunnies get it on.

i guess this explains the motivation for making Christian NES games by Wisdom Tree (http://www.atarihq.com/tsr/odd/scans/wisdomtree.html), tho ;)

Would it really take the women from Beat 'em and Eat 'em to make the Atari 2600 E.T playable? ^_-
