Date: 2003-01-24 03:39 am (UTC)When I saw this recipe a week ago, I thought "That looks good", but (a) I'm not so down with chicken broth, and (b) I can't cook.
But I recently found some non-animal, pseudo-chicken stock cubes (which takes care of (a)), and so I recklessly decided, "Damn item (b)!", and cooked the recipe tonight. It actually was quite easy, and turned out good-ish.
(It's the first time I've tried to cook a recipe since my disastrous Home Ec classes in grade 8. I'm surprised I was able to find a set of measuring spoons around here.)
So I'm just writing this to say thanks, and to boast about my new-found cooking pride :-)
