nfotxnWell, I missed it but yesterday was the 2 year anniversary of my Livejournal being created. I'm not sure if this is significant or not.
Went faggoting with Dave, his ex, ex's SO and Christopher J. checking out frou frou houseware and vintage furniture stores on Queen West. I popped into Rotate This and found both Dabrye and Dntel on LP on sale for $10 each! I prompty wet myself then checked out as my day had been made.
Went to 5ive tonight. Hawksley Workman says in his songs that "Dancing is.. sexual confidence". I'm inclined to agree because I think for the first time in my life I really felt good about my body and just got caught up in the momment for long periods of time. Ray, Greg, John and I feigned all sorts of lewd sexual innuendo on the dancefloor and casually undressed as the night went on.
Also a certain hot cub.. oh, let's just call him "W" was there being all cute and stuff.
It was really a lot of fun to be that... fabulous... for a few hours. I was there and I was being a big ol' faggot and loving every momment. This sorta freedom is really lacking from the life of my alter-ego that pours over Salon and Wired for two hours straight with intermissions of high-frequency narcolepsy twice a day two-and-from school.
Although it's gonna take at least straight weeks of nothing but Oval and Autechre to get all the Disco Divas and Hard House Hoovers out of my head.
