So, there's lots of b-days goin' on lately. That's cool, but I'm not around much to say the good words. So, in the interest of efficiency, here's a generic birthday wish.

I hate public B-day wishes

Everyone on here wishes everyone else a happy birthday in public. That's lame.

It's almost like everyone wants everyone else to see how good a friend they are by wishing them a happy birthday in front of everyone else. I wish people happy birthday privately.

Yeah, sometimes it's a definite publicity stunt. That was the sub-text of the message. But on the other hand, there's different strokes for different folks (anyone who's participated in mutual masterbation can attest to that).
