I'd like to point out that current feverish pitch consumer culture in the world has hit is creating a whole generation of highly aggressive nihilists. Maybe I'm just absorbed in my 20-something demograph? But it seems in light of the current war and America's obvious intentions of serving the ever-present global corporate personhood in the form of Big Oil Bush, and supporters have been given enough rope to hang themselves in the public's eye.

Or at least the people who will matter in the future; young people whom are currently without the placation of a salary and callous of failure.

Some may say it's naïve to believe that war is not necessary in certain situations. That it's cowardly not to retaliate at the hands of your agressors, that war is necessary.

To that I'd like to reply that I am indeed brave enough to die than to live an accessory to murder. I can say that with the steely resolve of my humanity and compassion. I recommend all in opposition to check their moral bearings and get with the 21st century.

I'm proud to admit I am still naïve enough to believe in a better future.

Here Here!!

It's more frustrating when you are an american clamoring for peace and no one else listens. They just trust in the paternalism of their government.

People my age either, don't give a shit and would rather be out drinking, or could care elss and are of the beleif that bush knows best.

I at least have a handful fo friends who along with myself who feel that maybe we should expatriate to Canada.

What really gets me is the "I don't care" phenomenon that seems to be happening more and more. I can at least respect a person if they can justify their beliefs that war might be necessary. I have no respect for people that say "I don't care either way." It makes me very angry. If it's naive to think that a person can change things, I never want to stop being that way either.
