Vote to Make St. Patrick's Day a National Holiday!
Well, maybe. Not really. Just give us your goddamn marketing information already OK?

This is the primary thing I dislike about guiness. It's a good beer and widely available but their megalomanical british ethno-centric approach to marketing creeps me the fuck out. "Guinness: Believe", WTF?! It's motherfucking BEER. Guinness is forever written up in marketing trade magazines as something so super-fantastic just like Apple because they build a cult around their products. As if it were some sort of valid faith to believe in products as a source of inspiration in life.

If they just sold their beer on the fact that people like it because it tastes different and looks good they'd be doing themselves a service.

*bangs head on desk* Now I continue writing cover letters.

mmm...Jones...

so how do Jones and Grolsch compare? does the imbibing of any other beverage result in skyclad gyrations of Bob-ular organisms?

(why did i use so many big words in that last sentence?)

Dearest Holly,

Alas I value my humanity far beyond degrading myself to the lowest living form (debateably) on earth: a marketer.

Much Love,

Dortmunder Dab

"End of message", usually used to indicate you've already said everything you had to say.

That commercial kinda miffed me too. Hell, St. Patricks day isn't even an official national holiday in Ireland from what I understand.

why couldn't they just stick with quoting W. C. Fields:

"I don;t drink water.. fish f*ck in it".

St. Patrick's Day wasn't anywhere near the holiday it is now until the New Yorkers got a hold of it as a day to get piss-drunk. It was never that big a deal back in Ireland.
