And it is obvious that there is more going on than he would care to admit to himself much less anyone else. Based on what you've typed here, I think your observations on this individual are valid.
It is totally appropriate to approach people with a skeptical eye. Because even the cute, nice guys who seem intelligent and really into us can be as freaky as the worst of them.

Date: 2003-03-24 08:09 pm (UTC)Ok, so without getting too tangental what I'm trying to point out is that the only way to be savvy with people on the internet is to be extremely skeptical and make judgements only on hard empirical evidence. For instance I've noticed that for every scientific study on a given prescription drug there are far more unqualified opinions or snake oil sales men with "natural homeopathic remedies". The same goes for inter-personal relations, maybe even more so as I think most people would agree that flirting, love and dating are all out WAR ;)
