Go check out DynDNS (http://www.dyndns.org), and their CustomDNS option, it will let you tie a (possibly) changing IP address to a real domain name...or you can just get a DynDNS name that ties a name to your IP address.

GL with the installs. I am a die-hard, I was building everything from source....that's what took so long to get Gallery and ImageMagick built...

LMK if you need any help, be glad to lend a hand, I love this stuff.

Heheh, well I'm not too sure as well. :) I'm thinking he installed a web-server program on his current machine so he can host his own web-pages. Time will tell.

Yeah, it's just my new webserver. There's nothing there yet but it's up and running. I built it from spare parts and installed linux the other day. *pats himself on the back*
