I suppose I should recall my weekend. For reasons of posterity only of course. There really is a lack of documentation of social minutia in the 21st century...

Friday night I'm playing my usual disappointed princess routine. As usual forgotten for girlfriends or the possibility of having one by my friendly neighbourhood heterosexualists. Which is ok, I should be used to it by now. Anyhow, a friend chats me up and wants to go to The Werx for Ms. Pacman Hamilton or whatever. He's got a pretty leather prom dress and looks quite dashing in it. Unfortunately it was All Diesel Dyke Country Kareoke *barf* We hit the road and head to the Toolbox where all the usual suspects are out cruising and boozing for Bear Night. By the end of the night I'm inspecting tonsils with a cute pocket daddy named Brian. Rightawn.

Arriving home sometime near dawn I hit the hay hard and wake up to play Garden Slave Boy for Mom moving heavy objects. I'm so glad I'm respected for my mind around here, really I am. That night is Ray ([livejournal.com profile] stingray1975) and Christine's ([livejournal.com profile] queerdragonfly) badass T-Shirt Party which I wasn't sure I could make. Luckily arrangements were made (thank you Ray!) and I ended up having a genuinely fantastic time shooting shit about ever conceivable artist with some kindred music snobs. We ended the night re-enacting a likely scene from 30 Something passing around a bottle of white wine and chatting in the backyard.

A truly fantastic time.

In the morning I wake up and Ray has work at 3PM. I accompany him and we leisurely make our way across downtown on the TTC enjoying some of Tim Horton's coffee beverine on what was up until that point probably the most beautiful day of the summer. I see Ray to work and continue on the bus back to the subway and ultimately to the gaybourhood to hang with Dave ([livejournal.com profile] cub4bear) and Claude ([livejournal.com profile] claudecub). We cruise men at Timothy's and chat. Dave is tired but I'm up for the fun fest that is the Sunday BBQ at the Eagle where favourite fixtures Scott ([livejournal.com profile] trckrfckr) and Steve ([livejournal.com profile] freakystyle) are in addition to like 80 trillion hot shirtless d00dz. There is much chatting, touching, kissing and libation. I got to go home with a very sensual and generally beautiful bear from Hamilton. Yeah I guess they do exist eh?

Back home at about 12:30AM the week begins.
So what's up lately in my life? Admittedly I haven't been writing as personally as usual in my Livejournal. To be completely honest I feel my life is better lived than written about lately. I take that as an indication that things are going well even considering that I'm unemployed and school is over.

Sounds like a busy weekend bud :-)

I think the problem with your weekends is finding space not to do anything, it sounds like everyone wants an arm or leg so to speak :-)

Yeah, I suppose you're right. People seem to enjoy me when they're in the mood. But to be honest the majority of the time I go unnoticed.
