nfotxnI started painting last week. Graphic stuff.. some figure drawing too. I love conté. I'm working with "appropriating logos into a new context through juxtapostion". Or something along those lines. Basically slapping nike swooshes onto slave labourer's foreheads.. only different. Yeah, it's totally been done before, but it's something I want to explore.
Originallity is over-rated and really fucking rare these days anyhow.
I talked to Steve aka Braxton on the phone the other day. I was really suprised that he called me. I think we're gonna stay friends.. which is totally cool.
Although we both have our vices about each other it's inconsequencial now. If any of you are wondering what happened with our "relationship".. well, lets just say once you brush away the drama there really wasn't much of one. From my perspective it came down to two lonely guys inexperienced in the ways of relationships trying to stumble their way towards.. less loneliness. We weren't really sympatico people.
So now we're both a little older and a little wiser.. blah blah blah, life goes on.
