I had such a British day today. Woke-up, had bacon and eggs. Chicken pesto panini, coffee and OJ for lunch in the early after noon. Came home and had bits and tatties and some kronenburgh for Tea (aka Dinner). New Records:
  • Broken Social Scene - You Forgot It In People (UK)
I should have bought this record months ago but you know how it is. They're huge in Toronto of course and it's for sale cheap everywhere. When I get to the UK of course it's a commodity so I want it more. Plus the record is genius.
  • Various Artists - Stop me if you think you've heard this one before...
    Rough Trade
This is Rough Trade's 25th annisary tribute album. The current roster covers the label's back-catalog. Great tone to the record upon first listen-through
  • Radio 4 - Gotham
More post-punk death disco. Bonus CD with remixes by The Faint, DFA and playgroup. Yay!
  • Various CDS
    • Goldfrappe - Twist
More seedy electroclash. Might be fun in a mix.
    • Elbow - Fugitive
      It was on V2?
    • Eastern Lane - Feed Your Addiction
It was on Rough Trade and cheap?
  • The Rapture - Mirror
Crappy recordings but there's a Kid606 remix. Yay! Cheap too. For UK prices.
