Britain is OK
Nov. 13th, 2003 02:56 pmIt excites me that I only have about 7 shifts at work left before Fergus comes and I fly to Amsterdam to meet some more good company.
I miss home and my kitty, who is dead and not at home but cremated and spread over some field. Which isn't that hard to swallow now but really demonstrates how short my life has been. As all my life he'd been there and now for the first time I find myself in a foreign place with no Smoker.
I'm not really upset, just thinking about these things.
On the pratical homefront Dad has been called into work for a few days. With travel time that adds up to about a week. Having him putz about the house for more than a week makes me mental. There are a variety of reasons why that I won't bother to speculate about right now. I have things to go and do in town now. Mostly banking and maybe some photos as I am trying not to spend money before my vacation.
