Sometimes I don't even know where I am anymore. Inverness is actually beginning to feel less like a foreign place and much more familiar. Which is a neat feeling because I've never actually moved cities before in my life. Lots of my more sage friends warned that I may never come home. At the time I was dismissive but now I really understand what they were getting at.

Not that I plan on staying here, at least I haven't been given any reason to yet.

More than anything I'm enjoying a sort of urban lifestyle without all the nasty big city fag politics. I still miss my friends and family tons though.

Moving...

Well as soneone who just sold thier house yesterday, I'm in a wierd moving limbo. I'm staying with friends, so I can't really say I'm "Going home" when I leave work, but it's odd to say "I'm going to Jim and Al's"

Short term plans are to only be in New Orleans a few years, but you never know what will happen once I'm there...

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your comment, but I feel that participation in Drama is voluntary. You can choose to hold yourself above it.

Have you discovered any hint of a gay social scene there? I haven't seen you mention much in your journal.
