The Unreasonable Neighbour Chonicles: Chapter II

So I was just talking to my Dad on the phone in London about the unreasonable neighbour downstairs and I totally heard unreasonable neighbour yell at me through the floor! That's right, he lives in such complete silence that he can hear my conversations. Even worse he cares to listen.

I have a sneaking suspicion that he's figured out I'm gay and is acting out some lame aggression as things have suddenly escalated without any particular warning. I won't be acting under that premise but it could very well be a possibility.

You might consider keeping a radio or tv on (low) at all times when you're not sleeping. He would not be able to hear you clearly. Creepy. Good luck.

I would spend some time writing offensive little songs about him. I'd also put boogers on his incoming mail.

Talk to the landlord or have your dad talk with the landlord. Then you should both talk to your neighbor, or even all three of you talk to him. Safety in numbers and all. People like that rely on secrecy. They'll corner you when you are alone but act perfectly respectable when there are other people around. The more who know about him, the less capricious he will be.

Whatever the case, you could think about moving! :-)
