I just feel so down in the dumps lately. I need to get outside more or something. Worry not though, I'm on it.

The new Buck 65 record "Talkin' Honky Blues" seems great upon first listen. It's the most diverse record he's done yet aesthetically. Lyrically "Talkin' Honky Blues" often speaks about living a simpler life through Bucks staple of lyrical characters. This time it's baseball players and show repairmen. The imagery is really sweet and kind. He's the only hip-hop artist who I've seen take people from a party track to tear jerking ballad. Saw him with [livejournal.com profile] plaidninja here in Hamilton one night, I had a great time.

Have a party.
Design your own website.
Start a band.
Spackle the den.
Play with your magic nose goblins.

It's harder to be down when you get up and move :D

Down in the dumps (comic relief, I hope)

You might like this slogan, off a T-shirt I got as a child on vacation with the family. It read:

The next time you're down in the dumps...

(Pick me up a tire)
