Well. I thought my palm was just a bit of an expensive brick in my pocket.

But today I discovered Bhajis Loops. It's basically a sampling mod sequencer with basic realtim FX! It works incredibly well at 44.1khz sampling with a delay, reverb, eq, distortion and 4 pole filtering! As a drum machine this thing is more powerful than entire sampling workstations a few years ago. And the touch screen on the palm is pretty tweakable. Way awesome for jamming out a groove on the fly.

I could totally write entire songs on this. I think I am in love!

Damn. I can only run Palm OS 4. I didn't even know they made it to OS 6. Bhajis needs OS5 at a minimum.

Sounds great, though.

OS 6 isn't quite out yet as far as I know.

There's a huge difference between 4 and 5. Most noteably is that OS 5 processors are a heck of a lot faster and allow for realtime stuff.

Yay for Palm. I love my Tungsten 3. It rocks.

Now, back to the picture. When you click on it, it goes to your photo page. Is it shallow of me to totally skip over all the other pics and go right for the one of you with no shirt on?? HOT!!!

Yes, I really hate how Apple sells the hardware platform with their software. They did the same with shake apparently by making the OS X licenses cost a fraction of the other platforms. Trés lame.

I find the move towards software really super exciting as I really don't have a huge investment in any hardware right now. It's so nice to be absolutely spoilt with power.

I can understand your enthusiasm as I've just discovered MiniMusic's NotePad (http://www.minimusic.com/notepad.html), a rudimentary notation program for the PalmOS. I won't NEED a laptop for my sketches when I'm on the road!

All I need now is a Palm.

Hurrah for miniaturisation.

It looks potentially neato, but the trial version crashes so much on my Clie (a NX70 running 5.0) that I can't really try anything with it. Dang.

Did you install this first? Older Cliés with the old proprietary sony sound interface don't work exactly right with OS5's streaming sound.
