Anyone else noticed the trend on local Torontonian TV towards talk shows that take place in a bar or incorporate alcohol? There's Play on CBC and pretty much all of Toronto1. It's like any talk show except the host has got a pint or a rum and coke or something. I think I like the idea because they're all "Hey, we're cool. We can drink and tell you about the news." But on the other hand it seems a little gimmicky too. Unfortunately CityTV only drinks Tim Horton's coffee and donuts still. Perhaps the booze is product placement too?
So news is my favourite rock band The Trews have been signed with Sony. I can't get enough of their single so I've placed it here to share with you. However I feel I must warn you that you may have the urge to sing along with the chorus or band your head violently to the beat, which I encourage. Now it would be positively ghasty if one of my precious internet gays were to get in some sort of accident listening to a song. Remember: responsible rocking out is no accident.
