<a href="http://nfotxn.co.uk/img/displayimage.php?album=14&pos=0" target="_blank"><img src="http://nfotxn.co.uk/img/albums/userpics/10001/normal_Aryka1.JPG"></a><hr width="533px" align="left" noshade/>This is my cousin Arkya. When she was younger I used to baby sit her and her brother Elliotte (yes, creative names are a bit of a family tradition). Now she is well on her way to a hardcore legit full on modeling career at the age of 18.

Now regularly I'd feel really bad about a young woman getting into an industry such as modeling. But her head is really and seriously on her shoulders. She asks the hard questions and doesn't comprimise because she's smart. I am so proud of her really because I guess Arkya is the closest thing I have to a little sister.

But it's also making my head spin because I remember her in diapers. Best friend getting married, cousin becoming fledgling model... all good things I suppose. It's funny how life turns out really.

Also backdated some photos of <a href="http://www.livejournal.com/users/nfotxn/602670.html" target="_blank">my trip to the RBG</a> last week.

I know what you mean. Aspiring to be a model doesn't necessarily make you stupid. One of the only decent people I knew in the high school in Victoria, BC (right after moving to Canada at 15) was Tara Moss, who disappeared a year later having run away from home.... later to turn up with a modelling career in Australia and a collection of suspense novels to her name.
