There's something funny about addressing a letter to the "United Kingdom". It's like I'm writing to Narnia or something. Infact just scribbling the word "Kingdom" alone, with a pen in cursive writing, entices one to loop a little tighter and mutter a little louder.

Oh our cold and impersonal modern world.

In any gentrified urban neighbourhood close to bars, spas and bathhouses.

...just as long as you don't refer to other adults around you as "muggles" and attempt to send your letter via Owl Post, I think you should be just fine.

Open your mouth a little wider when you speak, and curtsey while you're thinking of what to say. It saves time.

This is one of my favorites with the English:
"What was that?" [Hold hand to ear and look around]
"Was that the sun setting on the British Empire?"
