Last night was $2.50 drinks night, oh bliss, oh headache. Most unfortunately our favourite bar across the street wanted $1.25 more for drinks. Oh Smooth Herman's, you may have good wings but you gotta treat us right. Across the street we went to George's Garage and met up with Justin and his jolie fille du jour. I think I had about eight beers which left me a tad more drunk than I want to be on a Wednesday.

The energy of my new found blue collar virility surging through my veins, or at least my liver, I returned home, liberally felt myself up and entered a peaceful coma at about 4AM. Oh slackerdom, how I court and loath you all at once. I feel so terrible today considering I was being such a healthy... heathcliff.

I'm sorry if my writing seems a tad ostentatious of late. Some unknown creative urge is driving me further into this showy direction. I just wish I were more grammatically precise.

Grammar makes me seriously uneasy. It's been my impression since elementary school that there are legions of librarians waiting to give me the 3rd degree as soon as I become at all confident with the way I write.

I think any time you ask yourself if you are being too something in journal, you should immediately play up whatever it is you are worried about, because it is probably the most interesting thing happening in the entry.
