OK, for those of us hopelessly unhip, definitions?

j-rap is like j-pop only rap. That is to say Japanese rap.

dsp is really just a pseudonym for idm. But more so the high-brow "this sounds like whirrs and clicks or tap dancing!" sorta end of idm.

bit-hop is hip-hop as re-appropriated by nerds. Herky, jerky low-fi videogame sounds and very brief almost kurt sampling where the end and beginning of the sound is often cut off.

Schaffel is best explained here but is mostly german techno thing.
