Earliest Memory
Sep. 17th, 2004 02:25 pmAs Raymond (
stingray1975) pointed out childhood memories are often associated with times of strong emotional experience. I remember my early childhood as being rather care free and ideal so childhood memories are thin on the ground.
The earliest I can recall was the yellow swing I used to love. In our first home in Dundas, Ontario there was a car port where I would swing for hours which allowed for my Mom to do gardening. All she would do is push me ever so often and I'd be good to go for quite a long time.
It's funny to recall visually that I often think of the house in Dundas and the house in West Hamilton I grew up in as the house with the yellow and blue swing, respectively.
