I had enough bacon in my before I turned 30 to last 3 people a life time. I still like the smell. I've probably had some since then, only once in a very great while.

Does Canada have Hoegaarden over there? wow, i thought it was only brewed & sold here, kind of like how we don't get root beer in europe... very good beer indeed, one of my favourites too.
I also like Palm & Duvel, I don't know if you have those over there :)

Yeah, there have been imports for quite some time. It's just now that they are offering draft Belgian beers widely at a lot of pubs and bars. I believe the draft is actually brewed here but that sorta stuff is always hush hush.

Hoegaarden is by far the best.

I haven't had anything to drink since I got back to the UK and Hoegaarden will be the first thing to cross my gullet.

I can never pronounce it properly though. Who-ghardeh? Heuh-kharde? Fortunately the Liverpudlians don't seem to mind, so I just ask for Ho-Garden, an imagine silly things.

and with your being from Southern ON, now I really miss the Tool Box, where you could have a beer in a Ho Garden. This brief voyage in to the mind of an ADD adled Canadian down south is brought to you by the letter G. You know even though I think you were in junior high when I was in Guelph wish I had met ya then.

Sadly this past August the Toolbox closed it's Ho Garden for good. Although the building did get historical status. So they can't tear it down and make more condos like the new owners would have planned to.

I suspect we were both lots different when I was in Junior High and you were in University.
