So sexy and lucious

Perhaps a symptom of the ailing local economy.. but more and more wig stores seem to be open. And I can't resist taking pictures of them. The whole concept has got that Terry Gilliam fantasy movie weirdness about it. A store of vain dismembered heads all convinced they're the fiercest 'stenions in all the land. It makes me giggle.

Which reminds me of the time Shawn and I were cruising (non-sexy type) down Spadina in Chinatown. We entered a wig shop just to be a nuisance. Perhaps the proprietor detected this as immediately upon entering he yelled out:
No sell wigs to public!
Further cementing the hilariousness of the wig industry in my warped little mind.

No, it's actually a scene from the Brodie Noble Chree fantasy movie you're making right now. (wink)

Perhaps the artificiality of wigs is what attracts you; like the ego unleashed in some mad and frantic quest to be something it's not while struggling with the decay in our western culture which is perpetually choking on it's own vomit.

At one point in time the main strip here in Detroit, Woodward, was nothing BUT wig shops.

That's what you get for having a wigshop on the main drag (King & John)

Then to whom might this man sell wigs? Or is he selling cocaine under the counter? And did you refer him to an English as a second language class?
