Toronto Pride 2005
Jun. 28th, 2005 01:52 am What an incredible weekend. Despite being sweaty and burnt the spirits were rallied and soared. With each passing same sex police couple, married couples, tolerant church and queer ethnic group I think we all see a bigger picture.
At the end of the day Toronto Pride feels bigger than the LGBT communities. It's about a city looking at it's communities and affirming each other. It's all just so very civilized and advanced. And it makes me very proud indeed.

Date: 2005-06-28 01:33 pm (UTC)Everything just felt relaxed. In four days and tens of thousands of people, we saw one poor, lonely soul who was upset about the "faggots" - everything else was like disneyland.
With hookers.
