Writing Of Courage
Jul. 10th, 2005 02:52 amI often wonder about this medium. They say that blogging is 90% reflection on the meaning and importance of blogging. My question is how it integrates into my life. Do I live to blog? What are my biases and intentions? What do I reveal?
But I think it is at this point with honesty and courage that I both live to tell about the few fantastic things and sublimate the mundane for deeper meaning.
It ain't easy. And I'm still learning to write as best I can. With accountability to myself and others via the medium I hope to write something passionate.
And a whole lot of way-skippable posts about Apple Computers and indiesnob records.

I blog to remember things. I blog so that my faraway friends can keep track of me (though this kind of kills conversation, it seems.). I blog because having to put my thoughts into words forces me to understand what I'm tapping out; if I don't, then no one will understand what's going on. <--- This is a big deal for me because I can have issues understanding my own feelings.
Have you come up with anything new on why you blog?
Also, I'd be very interested in talking to you elsewhere. I have contact information on my User Info page. All I give is the vessel. The killer may fire at will.
