School starts next week. I quit smoking (again) Monday and have been to the gym twice this week.

Trying a new habit. Leaving my debit and credit card at home and just taking the cash I suspect I'll need for the day with me. I really have no need to carry around access to all my money. I don't travel for a living or anything.

Had a really nice long weekend, despite working Sunday. Spent some time in Toronto for David's (thickslab) birthday where I had the world's awesomest vegan chocolate cake. Ed (bfebear) was in town visiting John which is always super fun. John has great taste in men.

Did you know "awesomest" and "vegan" are both words that are not in the Oxford Dictionary?

I'd not noticed that this very weekend past was some sort of Bear Run. Toronto, despite being the biggest place in the country, has a sordid past when it comes to Bear Mary related activities. Lots of embezzling and disappointing events. This one seemed to be all right? I was really only at O'Grady's on Saturday night. Where many a blogging bear was to be seen. But I didn't stay as long as I usually do as I was double-dating David's birthday and making an appearance at the bar.

A very nice weekend.

It is indeed. It's the white with black stitching one. It's a bit short in the mid-rift for us with longer torsos. But comfortable and so smooth.

Despite being a symbolic bourgeois gesture of responsibility I still like their stuff.
