Leave one memory of you and me together. It doesn't matter if I know you a little or a lot. Make shit up if you want! If you want, post this in your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you
Brief-but-hot makeout session with you in the bedroom of some random person throwing a party in Toronto's gayborhood that Jeff and Shawn took me to, while stupefyingly drunk on Jeff's amazing chocolate martinis...
The big basement LAN party... I don't remember whose basement, but it I remember you drinking the biggest, hardest screwdriver I've ever seen and getting falling down drunk.
That, and us playing a buttload of BattleZone '98. Ahh, highschool.
Yeah, I think Brendan poured that for me. It was like one of those huge Cocacola glasses and was basically like a good 300ml of Absolute Tangerine or something. I think that was the one in the basement at my house on Stone Church Rd. Yeah, that was a good time. That was a fun period in time, before everyone had broadband and we'd all get together and geek out.
Heh. Do you remember the time we put on each others clothes and went down to the gaybourhood to hang out. I can't recall if that was your idea or mine, but I remember us doing it. I think we ran into an old aquaintance of mine from university named Jerome.
Remember when we bought that big block of gourmet chocolate in Chinatown... and we were all starving and sunburned... and we decided to dig into it while we sipped our water from elegant cylindrical glasses and waited for dinner? And then we discovered that it was just raw cocoa solids and we all stared at each other like we had eaten mouthfuls of poo, not wanting to be the first one to spit it out? And then we all busted out laughing and retched out globs of molten chocolate?
Yeah, that was awesome. We were all being so polite. Like "I am in a fancy looking restaurant, I have to eat the poo in order to seem sophisticated and metro!"
I remember reading some of your comments in others' LJs and thinking "ew". Then I happened across your LJ during your UK experience and thought "jeez he's insightful."
Always thought you were kewl though. Certainly kewler than me.
Haha, Dave's building totally cracks down on the gays in the pool and sauna now. It's annoying. You could be braiding somebody's hair in the sauna and the fire alarm will probably go off.
well theres so many memories....but the one that comes to mind is when me, you, tiffany, brittany v, brittany r, and brittney were all at the mall and that creepy guy was like hey what are you guys doing? and we were all like nothing, you're creepy. and then brittany r spilled her diet coke on that baby. that baby was so ugly. i didnt say it at the time, but i think that baby kinda looks like brittany v. dont tell her i said that.
I remember first meeting you at the Belle & Sebastian concert in Halifax. You were walking around in a LSD stupor amazed at the beauty of it all. My friend Trudy thought you were cute and we brought you back to her home, it was funny, you kept trying to jump off the roof! That and her bathrobe scared you to death. Something about fish head chiwawas. In any event, when you woke up you were very apologetic and made the most delightful pancakes I have ever tatsed. Of course this was way back in 1998. I didn't hear from you after you and Trudy broke up after the millenium celebration in London. Just a weird phone call. Then you suddenly have a blog!
Your ear. My tongue. Jon laughing hysterically while he trying to to take this picture that he made into a LJ icon for me. I just wish I had the original picture to post here. Your expression was SO priceless.
It was a small pub in Amsterdam, with a gaggle of hot journalers. You entered with Fergus and there were those genuine smiles of, wow, it's great to meet you, I wonder when making out will commence. That tension continued as we retired to the hotel room at the Golen Bear. Tinny music piped from a laptop, there was some horsemeat tasting, some wine (I don't remember if it was good or bad).
Yeah, I mean it was wicked to meet everyone but there was serious tension. I was all trying to be respectful of unspoken boundaries so I kept it all buddy-buddy heterosexualista. How unfortunate.
But I have fond memories of Le Shako. Amsterdam is basically one of the few mythical places in my mind. I was never big on theme parks as a kid, mostly questioning their authenticity. But that city, my goodness, it really is Disneyland for Adults.
This is a funny one: We 'met' by a Message I sent to you via Bear411, about 4 years ago. Then you give me a link (or I found it on your Bear411 profile) that lead to your journal. I started reading and after a while decided to sign in to LiveJournal. I strated discovering music and other stuff on your posts. Then start making good friends here and now I am stuck to this. Even if we don't live really far We haven't met, but I have always thought that you are a cool and interesting human being.
When I first met you you had this amazing creative streak and you were pumping out one groovy graphic after another. You produced one that was supposed to be a take off of the new Mac OS X "aqua" interface with the text, "Yummy Mac Candy".
