I have Portuguese cousins who live on Avondale Street & John Street in Hamilton. I haven't seen them in years. The last time I was up in the area was in nearby Toronto to visit my friend Christine last December 2005...she has since moved north to Manitoulin Island...which is soooo gorgeous. :)

Portuguese cousins in Hamilton, get outta town! Actually the hip and arty farty area on James St. N is mostly a Portugeuese, Italian and Mexican neighbourhood.

Hamilton is like little Portugal.
Unfortunately, Philadelphia has no Portuguese community whatsoever and I'm truly the only Portuguese guy I know here. Since my family lives in northern New Jersey, I'm always looking forward to brushing up on my Portuguese language skills even it means visiting cousins in Hamilton...oh and taking in some fiddle playing from you would definitely be an added bonus. ;)
