So, one might expect the "OMG I´m home in Canada!" post today. I was expecting to make it myself. Problem is I´m still in Madrid. See I´m a dual-national, UK and Canada but presently and tend to usualy resid in Ontario. It´s not usually a problem because there is no visa required for UK citizens to come to Canada. The problem is lame and mired in international law which basically, because of our fabulous itinerary, looks like I didn´t actually return home. As I flew to Dublin and home from Madrid. It´s confusing and lame and mostly my fault for depending on my UK passport to fly and neglecting to renew my Canadian one.

But it´s not all bad. I called my Mom from the Canadian Embassy, got an emergency Canadian passport and I get to enjoy a little bit of the MADBEAR 2006 bear run before heading home on the 7th of December.

Anyhow, to all the cute kittens I travelled with - you are all awesome in your own awesome ways. Also I´d like to rub in that I´M STILL IN MADRID!! Muhaha, Bear´s Bar is already busseling at the very NOT Spanish hour of 6PM with all teh gays here for the run. I´m staying at the Chueca Pension again. The cute Mario guy put the moves on me when he gave me my room. Which was weird and if I were a woman in Canada grounds for a lawsuit. But I´ll learn to deal with my abuse. I watched Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles dubbed in Spanish and I think I will fierce the bars for a bit.

We *so* did not cock block you!

Glad yer ok. I felt horrible having to watch you run off to the embassy this morning. I saw the others before I boarded and told them of your plight.

But c'mon...you planned this, didn't ya? ;)

No good news for me coming home either, so it was a lousy day all around.

Have fun with yer extended stay in Chueca.

Brian and I were watchign you in low resolution on his cam. Don´t worry we didn´t see your junk and only learned that you sit in front of computers too.

I will survive, somehow.

I knew there would be surveillance involved. I ran around the house naked much less because of that.

It's not really surveillance, more "Internet Peek-A-Boo". There were a couple times you *might* have been nekkid, but it's really hard to tell. It's such a high-quality camera, you know.

I only saw Digit once, when he was sitting on the kitchen table reading over your shoulder.

Isn't he just adorable! I love him so. We had a great 20 minutes of snuggling when I got home, and now he's exploring my luggage.

OMG. This is just ur... um... horrid. um... no, wait... um.

You realise that for those of us living our sad North American Lives, this might seem at once to be bad and good karma :-)

Oh no, you have to stay in Madrid and be trapped, TRAPPED, in a Spanish bear run. Poor baby. I'd comfort you, but I suspect you're not going to need it. :)

Whew! Glad to hear it's being sorted out.

We only got the rough outline of the issue before getting on our flight, and it was freaking us out.

Now we're in Atlanta, enjoying the lovely food court and free WiFi.

So what you're saying is that you tried to fly home on an expired Canadian passport or...? That first paragraph isn't all that clear.

Bastardo! I knew you were faking that whole getting stopped while trying to reenter the country thing just so you could go back and make-out with hot men... (sheesh)

I'm so darn proud of you...

But mostly I'm just glad that even though you got stuck yer gettin' to fierce yer mad-on or um (well) whatever.. you know what I mean.

Say Hi to the bartenders at "Hot" and give Dave (mustache) a big ol' hug for me if you see him out.

You'll have to tell me what actually happened when you get back, because I'm all confused now. In any case, extra vacation is a horrible thing to be saddled with. Suffer with dignity, okay.
