The Real Boards of Canada
Jun. 15th, 2007 10:54 pmKnow what I love? I love that my publicly funded national news still does 20 minute segments on the falling polar bear population in Nunavut. Location shots like crazy.
I would also be surprised if we found out Inuit people are not totally from Eastern Asia.
Next up is... wait for it... wait for it... Rrrrrrex Murphy. We all hope they keep him on the CBC until he's a head floating in a jar.

Date: 2007-06-16 03:26 am (UTC)I'm not sure why they've attempted to tart it up with that inane weather segment, though. Since most people are interested primarily in their own local weather, I don't know why a national weather segment is considered a good use of the limited airtime available, but I guess the CBC's programming wizards are smarter than I am.
Anyway, I'm very, very glad to have Peter Mansbridge and The National to report the news, and This Hour Has 22 Minutes to make fun of it.
