It's like holy moly hipsters. Can we cut to the chase? The new Justice record is just incredible. Daft Punk eat your tired hearts out.

A.M.E.N.

After listening to "Cross" for a few days I am loving it more and more. The tracks are a-mazing, even the somewhat hard to listen "Stress" (oh, the first 30 seconds are rough) turns into a delightful tune. It really is one of those CDs that I can just listen to from the beginning to the end, everything just fits.

And, I have to say, the Orchestra of Bubbles was fun for a day but I am already getting tired of it, whereas I feel that I am just getting into Cross.

Justice is playing here at the end of the month but the show is sold out already, time to scout craigslist for some tix i think.

Brodie: Couldn't agree more. I've been listening to it non stop for weeks now. So much fun.

Teelo: Holy shit, I had no idea that show was sold out already. Damn it. And tickets on Craigslist are going for like $85. Crazy. If you happen to stumble across anything cheaper, let me know, because I'd love to go...

That's funny you say that about Orchestra of Bubbles. I had much the same reaction to it. Novelty wore off real quick.

Cross is brilliant though.

I'm actually enjoying Teenage Bad Girl more than the Justice. Not to say that the Justice is bad.

Ha, well...I'll lose scene points in the same thread then because I hadn't even heard of them before my friend gave me the album.

hm, hipsters... the way they move is a mystery.

no it's a great album. of course i think daft punk have always been seriously overrated so you're preaching to the choir here.

Discovery was a good record. I think the previous record was a tad boring but great on drugs. The last record was a pastiche of their masterwork.

Does that make me a hipster?

Dude you LOVE that record! No, that makes you somebody with good taste.

Being a hipster is having somebody mention Cross and then going off on how hype and cool it is totally bypassing the fact that the record deserves the recognition. Therefore implying that you are too cool and already over something that is legitimately great.
