Beta Waves
Jan. 23rd, 2008 11:39 amMelatonin is incredible. It makes me fall so deeply and utterly asleep. So much so that I wake up in the morning and have serious trouble trying to wake up again.
I'm glad everyone seems to be enjoying the podcast so much. I have a few more in the pipe and will get them up there as soon as I can.
See I'm not big on being smug in for reals, that's what my blog is for. I actually try to conduct myself in a humble manner or, at the very least, stay slyly condescending in an internal way. But working in the Digitization department I have a co-worker who is basically a college moron with a copy of Adobe CS3.
This boy is a little bit retarded and takes instructions literally. Which is fine, the world needs dumb people to tax and do work for smarter people. However he is smart enough to know that I could mentally blow him out of the water like in that movie Scanners just by staring at his ugly head. I'm just more experienced at working on big projects, thinking about the entire outcome and tailoring my work to meet that entire deal. Big picture thinking. This boy reads emails literally, can't think about processes and demands managerial intervention every time we do some extra work based on what I know needs to be done not based on the literal meaning of a meeting summary from a week ago. Also he gets upset that I get invited to meetings about my projects that he isn't working on and won't believe anything I tell him was discussed at said meetings. Yeah, just THAT childish.
He gets belligerent with me and brings up red herring arguments that make him sound RETARDED. It got to the point that I'm feeling harassed by him and drafted up a formal complaint. I'm out of the department but this boy is a contractor and frankly I don't think should ever be hired again. He can't work in a team on material that is relatively easy to delegate and complete. Also I hate his guts.
On one hand I don't want to be vindictive but this guy has made my life difficult since I showed up in that office. So fuck him. I hope he never gets hired again.
