nfotxnHello blogsphere. It is I your favourite boulevardier here to summarize my own goings on mostly for my own mental well being.
At some point on Monday night after indexing a collection of business cards and drinking a pot of coffee all afternoon I exited the library compound on my way to the new digs on Cathcart street and mysteriously found myself gravitated into the massive pull of my favourite bar. It was open mic night and I thought I owed my favourite bar staff a visit. What's magical about these nights is that often times people touring Toronto stop by. Monday evening Pete Samples was there from Montreal to pepper the lazy Monday evening crowd with their own blend of spices. They put on a lovely set alternating from stage, through the window and onto the patio with guitar and autoharp and serendaded the patio smokers. I bought them beers and their CD with fabric art hand made by Mrs. Samples, Petes Mom.
Tuesday I painted and went to Jellys party at Casbah.
Wednesday more work then house painting. I really need to take more photos of the progress. Most pleasing is the now near total lack of Butter Cream/Tobacco Yellow walls. My room is optic white and a lovely hippie grass green now.
Did some security consulting for a client Thursday and totally got paid. My bank account exhibiting digits it has not seen for some time. This will not last.
Theresa's birthday on Friday and big news her and Dave are having a baby! Considered becomming the Junior Boys chef and decided against it. Ended up again at the PJC for some total pot smoking dub band and went home to seriously masturbate and fall asleep.
Retained my union status Saturday at the grocery store where an old man tried to fight me over the lister block. Odd. Went home and No Longer Hetero Steve aka land-roomie
had a line on some hippie solstice party with a bon fire and bands and things. Drove around and couldn't find it even with a GPS. Came home and slept.
Now a four day work week with more hours than I can afford and off to Toronto pride next weekend with
my wwabbit. It will be 31 flavours of rad.
