Doors pub is a fabulous experiment. In the basement of an old walk-up from the 1880's it's sweaty and dank. You will meet lots of metal heads, Somalian refugees, roller derby brides and crack heads. And of course a liberal dusting of marshmallows like myself and my friends. You can smoke most anything on the patio and the stage usually has at least somebody noodling around on it.

You know, I have gone to American wanna-be so called "pubs" and they weren't as fun, crazy, or wild as what I see in your pic. And why is is that they're always so hot, my gawd, please turn on some air.

Doors tends to have Authentic British Pub Fighting too. But it's cool because you can opt out of fighting and just watch most of the time. But you really get the authentic experience if you leave for home with a fat lip.
