Aaron picked me up after sectional. We went to Fortinos to see paul and subsequently rick bradley, an old friend of Aaron's. I picked up some fresh dental floss in the process. It was odd getting checked out and bagged by the guys we used to have over to our house for sleep-overs when I was 12.

We went to the cup and me up with Brendan. Little guitar and bass trio playing out of a fake book scaring away customers as usual on a thursday night. Decided to go for drinks and grease at the whistlin' walrus as Paul wasn't DD for once. Had a few pitchers between the three of us drinking, wings and onion rings. Great environment in that bar, big fire place and nice chairs. Done up like an up-scale british pub. Just had some really excellent conversation about nearly everything.

Came home and chatted with Ted ([livejournal.com profile] notofthisworld) about a zillion topics too. Had a good night.

Lotsa fun.

So while shaving last night I decided I'd never seen what a man with a goatee looks like with lipstick. Being the modern and sexually liberated man that I am, I gave it a whirl. It looked really dumb so I decided to draw works and arrows on my face. Looked kinda cool, whiped it off on an old rag and thought nothing of it.

Later in the evening I had to use the facilities. Now, I'm a bit of a porceline philsopher. I always need something to read so I picked up my mom's "Understanding Your Body" from the 70s. It had lotsa campy pictures, pregnant chicks in Eames chairs and whatnot.

This morning I had some explaining to do when Mom went to use the bathroom. Lipstick smeared on a towel and a book on the woman's body and all in the washroom. Of course she believed me that I'm quite happy being a man, not much of a dispute there.

But it was pretty funny.
