So last night I had total "Us vs. Them" dreams last night. But it was fun and all my friends showed up. Near the end nearly everyone from highschool was there. Then nearly everyone got drunk and left. Of course I didn't drink much I had some real momments of lucid dreaming, that hasn't happened in a long time. The end of the dream was a food fight which ended in the snack-cake isle of Paul's (zer0ith) Fortinos. I woke-up jonesing for a twinkie, I never eat that shit. What's up with that? I had a bowl of shredded wheat instead.

Favorite CRTC certified rock band definitely goes to pre-Edwin & The Pressure era I Mother Earth. I would suggest to anyone who would like a sample of Canuck Rock&Roll to pickup Scenery and Fish.

New IME album soon, they're recording as I type. And of course Edwin & The Pressure have that cool blues/grunge "Superhoney" single out right now. Just in time for summer festivals no less.

I'm in a killer good mood today. I talked a lot with Mrs. Spleit last night, it was a real wake up call in every sense of the term. Things are in good order today and although I didn't finish my memoires I did get a variety of things completed.

I have to run out now to sectional rehearsal and see how it goes. New material as our Pianist sorta had a few heart attacks. Oh, I always forget the important stuff. Yeah, we were doing the Mozart Concerto for piano and chamber orchestra . I can't think of the opus/kershal off hand, it's like famous and stuff although I don't often pay attention to names. I suppose I should so I can be a good classical geek. Anyhow, he was this man from Russia who was to play with us and the woods from the HPO (Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra). But he's in the hospital now recovering from near death. Fantastic eh? So that performance is post-poned until next year. Meaning that we have to fill in with some new material. I can't remember what it is off hand, although I should be able to. Simpler stuff than Mozart concertos but still crowd pleasing with a suprisingly fresh after-taste.

I'm off my Ben Folds roll and onto an I Mother Earth... summer sault? I think I would like to see them play, that would be enjoyable. Although without Edwin they are pretty different.

It's fuckin' nasty cold out.

Today on the bus these dickhead 20-something suburban males got on a few stops before I was to get off. I swear these little randy river clad shit head discount pimps musta made fun of everybody present! See, apparently they were going to steal "that big nerd's leather jacket".

Now, I know by not saying anything I empower them, but I was too wrapped up in my book. Gah, give me two minutes alone with that bleach blonde ears-pierced-at-the-mall-with-mom shit head and I'd fix him a nice set of bloody gums!

I've not had to deal with trash like that for a long time. I'd almost forgot they existed.

I think it has a lot to do with my lack of facial hair. Girls are noticeably far more open towards me and it seems guys are a little less imposed upon. Sure these are few isolated incidents but I think if I studied it for a while I could devise the same or similar trends.
