Gonna write a series on the music I like. Why? 'CAUSE I'VE GOT NOTHING BETTER TO DO.

Electronic

I'm queer, I like electronic music. Get used to it. Yes, there's a lot of crap out there. Love Inc., for example, can kiss my furry ass. It's highly marketed candy-electronic that doesn't know if it's house or Britney Spears. On the other hand there's some amazing shit going on. Basically anything on warp records can rim said ass.

Here's a list of records I should consume in the elctronic category. If you have one of these records, and it royally blows.. comment me!

Square Pusher - Selection Sixteen
I've only heard good things about this dude. He's teamed up with Richard D. James aka Aphex Twin a few times. It can't be bad. Jazzy, ravish, fun.

Autechre - EP7
I have all the mp3s, might as well give the man some respect. I'll buy Confield when it comes out soon too. What the heck.

lectronic shiznit...

re: squarepusher - i haven't heard "selection sixteen" yet, but I have all his other shit. he flips back and forth between freeform floaty head-trippy jazz stuff and cheap acid/drill-n-bass (which i like better). "big loada" is excellent.
re: autechre - ep7 is brilliant, but seems to be the only autechre work I can stand. quite a nice disc.

i am also digging Wagon Christ's new disc "musipal". Rather warbly dancy stuff. and I should probably plug my friend eric's label, audio dregs (http://www.audiodregs.com) :) nice indie pop and electronic stuff, and i hear that kid whatever remix on the sensualists "adaptations" cd is really good *cough**plug*it's me**cough*
